Orients Social Research Consultancy (OSRC) is a non-political platform that aims at fostering research taste among the budding scholars in social sciences, arts and humanities. Socio-political issues, cultural nuances, linguistic domains, literary genres and corpus tools are focused in particular. The institute arranges lectures, seminars and conferences throughout the year. The peer researchers are requested to visit the institute and share their research experiences with young scholars. Founded in 2017, OSRC exemplifies a culture of rigorous and timely analysis of the issues encountered in the aforesaid areas that influence research and education policies of the region and the nation.
The institute OSRC hosts two HEC approved ‘Y’ category journals as:
- Pakistan Social Sciences Review. PSSR (approved)
- Pakistan Languages and Humanities Review. PLHR (under process)
The institute offers current, up-to-date and high quality research in the form of original books and monographs apart from its journals. It also shares its network with other research institutes and libraries of the advanced countries. Through academic exchange programs between regional and international researchers, the institute always seeks to broaden its spectrum and horizon.
